Pinguicula

Butterwort plants, native to South America, produce leaves with stalked glands. The glands, though smaller than those of Drosera sundews, also produce viscous secretions that, in their multitudes, can trap tiny insects, which are immobilized and digested directly on the leaf surface.

Pinguicula unknown #1
Butterwort
The exact lineage of this butterwort is undetermined. One thing that's clear is that this plant is extremely fond of dividing itself into multiple growth points which can be separated into individual plants. This plant is extremely prolific and, like most butterworts, produces beautiful and elegant purple flowers.
